Disney releases exclusive pictures from Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War, the third movie in The Avengers series of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), became one of the blockbusters of 2018. Ten years in making and exploring the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, an unparalleled epic journey, Marvel Studios‘ Avengers Infinity War, brings the greatest and deadliest battle of all time to the audience. While the Avengers tried to defend the planet from threats too large for any hero to tackle, a new danger has been created by the dark force: Thanos. His goal is to gather all the six Infinity stones, namely, mind, soul, time, power, reality and space, objects of unimaginable influence, and use them to impose his warped will upon all truth. 

Celebrating two years of this epic movie, Disney posted some incredible behind-the-scenes pictures on social media. One photograph shows Chris Evan and Chris Hemsworth holding umbrellas and interacting with each other suited as Captain America and Thor. Another picture has Chadwick Boseman in his Black Panther character, preparing for the battle of Wakanda BTS. He is leading his Wakanda army as the King T’Challa for a scene where they meet Thanos and the outriders. Scarlett Johansson, as the Black Widow is another picture, is caught in action in her blonde look. Karen Gillan and Dave Batista, cast as Nebula and Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy, posed for a photograph. Karen is seen holding a head statue of Nebula, and Dave has put a Jacket on his body.

In one of the few more shared pictures, Benedict Wong and Mark Ruffalo were spotted laughing. The director Joe Russo is seen instructing Elizabeth Oslen for her entry as the Scarlett Witch. One of the BTS pictures also depicts Thor’s epic entry at the most critical moment when all the fighters were facing the outriders. A photo shows Sean Gunn in a sitting position, as Rocken Racoon, who is holding a big Gun and accompanying Thor. The last image reveals Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland in a CGI outfit.

Infinity war was the fifth highest-rated film in the history of cinema, and its theatrical run was 2.04 billion dollars. This movie featured the largest cast for a film by MCU. Avengers: Endgame, the sequel, went on to be the highest-grossing film ever, stealing Avatar’s top spot.
