Stay dry during the monsoon, as wet feet, socks, and shoes can lead to many foot problems. So make sure that they are dry and clean at all times. Be sure to hold your feet during monsoon. The humid, wet, and sticky climate is translated into wet shoes, sweaty feet, cracked toes, fungal infections, itching, athlete’s foot, and many other allergies. Monsoon can cause stinky and wrinkled looking feet. This is why they deserve extra care during the rainy season. Here are some simple home remedies.
Keep your toenails short and filed. Overgrowth is an invitation for nail dirt and grime that accumulates beneath them and is a breeding ground for fungal infections.
Get breathable shoes
Never wear wet shoes. Dry shoes overnight if you are out in the rain. They keep feet away from dirty water, and they are easy to wash. Switch your heels to simple footwear such as flip-flops, slippers, rubber boots, sandals, etc. They dry quickly, and the water leaks out easily. Avoid wearing closed shoes. Gumboots are an ideal option for a walk in the rain.
Don’t walk barefoot
Walking barefoot increases the chances of warts, and also makes the feet a fertile ground for bacterial and fungal infections, which are difficult to treat. As the temptation, it takes to walk barefoot on the cold floor or wet grass in the monsoon, you should avoid giving in to the temptation.
Dry your feet

Add some camphor to the fine powder and mix it in the talcum powder. To control sweating, put a few drops of lemon in warm water and soak your feet twice a week. Sprinkle this mixture on your feet before wearing shoes or socks. This will prevent smelly feet.
Leave for half an hour and then let the area dry. This mixture will also help control itching. Massaging onion juice between the toes also relieves itching. A foot mask made of fullers earth, neem powder, turmeric, and honey is excellent for foot health. This will help to soothe aches and pains.
For soft and soft feet, make a mixture of three tablespoons of rose water and one teaspoon of pure glycerin with two tablespoons of lemon juice. Soak your feet for 10-15 minutes.
